Powered By Authy
The best way to manage all your 2FA accounts is to use the Authy app. It enables you to have a single mobile app for all your 2FA accounts and you can sync them across multiple devices, even accessing them on the desktop. Install Authy on your device by searching for it in your device’s app store. Read more information on the features of Authy here.
Locate 2FA Setting
Login to the Coinbase dashboard. Click on your username in the top-right corner and select ‘Account Settings’ from the drop-down.
Click the ‘Security’ tab in the top navigation, or on the link reading “Enable 2-factor authentication on the security page” under the ‘Change Password’ section of your user profile.
Click the ‘Verify A Phone’ button.
Select your country and enter your phone number.
Enable Authy Token
Since you already have Authy installed, Coinbase will recognize that.
Launch Authy on your phone while you leave this page open.
Locate the Coinbase token on the Authy app and enter it in the space indicated back at the Coinbase page on your computer.
Your phone is now a secure token for your Coinbase account and will be synced with Authy through your phone number. The setup process is now complete and each time you log in, you’ll be asked for the Authy 2FA token.
Go back into settings and you can regulate how secure you want your authentication to be.
You’re all set!
